    I stand with Uganda

World Bank refused to loan them money because their anti-gay laws. I'm sure Russia, China, Saudis, etc. Have no problem loaning them the money and support those policies. Just another step in removing the dollar as the world's top currency and replacing it with China's.

can I post their flag on social media like everyone did for Ukraine? What does their ESG scores matter? Either help or let them show merit in repaying the loan, not their esg score.

Another front that Russia and China are winning on. Look at the current situation in Niger, Russians and chinese are providing Cash, grain, engineering and manpower to develop thier capabilities suh as farming and power plants. While the US and France/EU are sending solar panels and human rights lectures. those people are starving so who do you think they will welcome with open arms

Uganda is an oppressive dictatorship. They are anti-freedom and gay or any non-conformist lifestyle is just another thing not allowed.

They have a duly elected president, just like Hugo Chavez was the duly elected president of Venezuela.

The current Uganda president was going to be sent packing by term limits a few decades ago but magically their parliament changed/outlawed their constitutional term limits. So the president is so popular that he has been duly elected since 1986. Imagine that.

Maybe a few people will want to move to that Utopia since they are anti-gay.

sounds very familiar to what we see with our government.

I get your message, but I cannot agree with your sentiment. I’m not pro gay, but I don’t think anyone should be put to death for it and cannot support any gov with laws enforcing such penalties….

careful who you align yourself with

im not aligning with anyone and never even alluded to it. i'm just pointing out what the F is going on.

we have to address people with pronouns they prefer which is complete insanity and if not you could lose your job. we have states that are literally taking parental rights away so they can raise your kid and if you disagree you may go to jail.

we have the same **** going on here just a different degree but it will continue to get worse. our country is just as extreme only on the opposite end of the spectrum. guess you have to choose which end of the spectrum you want to be on these days.

Yea it's more the using purse strings to force political agendas. World bank shouldnt care about these things. It's more the frustration because esg scores impacting everything.
