I will bring up a faux pas that I see daily. It is beginning a topic or comment with “so”.

It is beginning a statement with the conclusion already drawn. An example might be, “So I was driving home…..” which would translate to beginning a topic with, “For that reason I was driving home…..” or “Therefore I was driving home…..”.

Sum of you is like atrocious at grammer,

We have a local blogger that butchers idioms such as using “intensive purposes” instead of “intents and purposes” and other egghorns like “beckon call”, “biting my time”, etc.

Also don't want to tell someone you're "helping your uncle Jack, off his horse" without capitalization and punctuation.

Pacifically, what makes you feed that way? It's just a slow manifestation of the "it doesn't matter" that's plagued us for years. Now just look, we have dudes beating women swimming, and man buns.

I agree, Dale. I thought they was Texans. They aughta know that we speak with slang. It's part of our heritage, and culture. They act-n like they grew up in a city or sumthun. Now, excuse me while I exit, stage left! Gotta roll at 5AM.

Where is a good grammar cop when you need one?

I don't think King GOF got out from the canopy this year at Bowanaza. He would have stroked out on seeing this signage.

                                ….and here’s something else.

Whatever happened to the serial (or Oxford) comma and what idiot decided to do away with it?

                                Bring back the Oxford comma!
