Ok guys!!! As most of you know I switched releases. Well I took it out this evening along with my new homeade hog light(thanks WES). I grew up in mustang ridge its between austin and lockhart. We have 50 acres of farm land with about an acre funnel of cedars and mesquites where i set up my tripod and feeder. I got out there this evening and nothing. Well it got dark and about 930 i could hear em comin!!!They started chompin away. I clicked on the homeade light and there were about 12 of em!!!! Lots of small ones and a huge boar and mid sized boars and sows. I picked out a sow drew with my new thumb release, clicked on the light and put a little pressure on the thumb and the slick trick took off!! Everything went black and i heard the hit and a long loud squeel!!!Wasnt sure where she was hit? Not long after was a loud crash and it was curtains!! I got down to my feeder and found my arrow burried into the ground.Great blood!!! Dark red with lots of bubbles and some pink!! I have used this same arrow and slick for three hogs now and its still sharp!! Trailed her and she laid 40 yards from where she was stuck!!Right behind the shoulder! Lots of good eats and fun practice for the summer slam comin up plus i have confidence now in my new release! Needless to say I brought home the bacon.
