Thanks for all the kind words. He was rather large and had quite a bit of fat on him. I just finished boning him out and will have him at the processor mid-morning tomorrow. I kept one hind quarter for our traditional venison roast dinner tomorrow evening...new thread to follow tomorrow or the next day concerning that...
