Doe down I think

I stuck a doe tonight but I think I hit her a little high in the lungs. I gave her 45 minutes before I started looking for her. I found blood that looked like she had blown it out of her nose and mouth not far from were I shot her. It was seriuosly dark down in the creek so instead of pushing her out of the country I didnt look past the first big pool of blood. I slipped back out and I am going to wait until in the morning to go find her. It is 38 degrees here so the meat will still be good in the morning.

Thanks. I am pretty sure she wont be to far from were I found the blood I just did not want to take a chance that she would jump up and run out of the country. The drops of blood that I was following before I found the big splatter had pink frothy bubbles in it so I am sure I hit her in the lungs.

it is way to dark and way to brushy to be crawling around after her tonight. It will be easier with daylight to find her.

Sounds to me she shouldn't be far. Get a spotlight and you'll be cleaning a deer tonight.

I found her sorry it took so long to post up. I will post pictures and the recovery story in a little bit.
