I was invited to hunt with a friend at his lease north of Comstock for opening weekend. They are all gun hunters and I had planed to gun hunt the first morning, but we got to the lease early enought on Friday that I was able to find a good spot to set up my ground max blind and brush it in.
I had only planed to shoot a buck that I would sholder mount, so my hopes were not to high. After not flinging an arrow at anything on Saturday I was looking for blood. I was in the blind early Sunday morning and before light I could hear something chomping on corn. As soon as it got light enought to see this guy was infront of me. It was still not light enought to see my pins so I had to sit for about 20 mins. Finally enought light to see my pins and I shot him he went about 10 yard and was down for the count. The Rage 2 blade did some serious damage at 20 yards. This was the first time I had ever even seen a Javelina. I am getting hooked on this bow hunting.
