Hey man welcome to Texas!

Here are a couple places the first two I am not 100% that they have a range but you can call and ask the Third one for sure does, I shoot there on occasion. They should be a little closer then Sherman. There is another place close to my house in Irving that is about to have a bow course. You walk through the woods, shoot targets and keep score. It is currently a rifle range off of Luna Rd. Hope this helps.
