It finally happened. This is really my first year to bowhunt seriously and so far I have taken 2 javelina, 1 hog, and now a doe. Im hunting on some bow only public land and I really wanted to get my doe out of the way so i could concentrate on a good buck during the rut. First couple trips I only saw several bucks and no doe. So I had a group of 3 doe and 5 bucks come in on the evening of 10/18. I waited patiently for all 16 eyes to not be up and looking anywhere in my direction, pulled back, settled my 20 pin on her, and let it fly. I knew i made a good shot with my 3 blade rage, and found her piled up at about 35-40 yards. I only caught one lung i think she may have turned slightly quartering towards me as i released, but it did its job.
So I couldnt take a ldp cause i was alone so here she is hanging up.
