    East Texas Hog

Well after 3 weeks of chasing white tails and not flinging an arrow , I finally did . This year has probably been the worst year I can remember for deer . Either the deer have post IKE stress and are not moving much at all . The rut for our area is usually in full swing for Liberty County . Anyway maybe it's not been cold enough . Monday morning started off great 47 degree's and so far the coldest hunt so far . Got to the stand at 6 am ready and all settled in . It was a beautiful sunrise and morning to be in the woods . Could not of asked for a better day except for maybe a little less moon . No deer arived so around 9 am a herd of hogs came to the feeder and I could not resist and had to let the G5 Montec sail away at 20 yards . Went back to camp got my brother and picked up the blood trail . Man was there a blood trail from hell . Hog went about 60 yards an expired . All in all great times and love spending time in the woods with friends and family .

It good to have something else to shoot at.. Good job man. Maybe no deer because of the pigs.
