Success in Texas

While recently researching I came across this site and what a great find. I not only have found DIY projects and completed 2 bows for Christmas gifts. I also found valuable info on day-lease ranches across Texas. A client of mine from Va. and I decided to take advantage of the trip my wife and I had planned to Houston for the holidays. We booked a hunt at Hunts Bowhunting Ranch. I was after the elusive Fallow and Brian was interested to see what Hunts had to offer for Aoudad. We were plesently surprised with the quality of animals. Rickey Hunt has a great variety of animals on his NW Texas ranch. I was fortunate enough to kill a Fallow that scores 101 (should be top 5 in Records of Exotics archery 2006) and Brian not only killed a great Aoudad (23" with 16" bases) he also took his second Fallow, a nice chocolate scoring 93 ROE. What a great way to start off the new year. Thanks too all here for the advice and comments and thanks to TBH.com for access to an invaluble website. Pictures to fallow and I am putting together a great video....yes with kill shots and all thanks again to TBH and their instructional DVD.
