with a bow that is. I finally connected Monday evening with a doe, making her my first deer with a bow. I didn't exactly make the perfect shot on her, and I was a little worried she was going to be a tough one to find. But she only ran maybe 30 yards and couldn't carry it any farther. It was a tough shot as well, she was already on edge and something behind me had her strung up tight. So for one I had to lean forward a little more than I was comfortable with to get the view of her in the window, and two, her vitals were between two bushes. Needless to say I can't complain about shot placement too much considering what I had to work with. Thanks goes out to Strummer and Slacker, they weren't doing anything majorly important that evening and came out and gave me a hand with her.
