I'm hunting the same spot I took the 9pt. Sunday night. I haven't hunted this location in the morning yet, so I thought I would give it a try. About 7:30 this big body buck rounds the corner and coming towards the feeder. He stops at 34 yards but never gives a shot. Looks around & turns around and was away. I'm shaking like the leaf. Shortly, 3 does and 2 fawns walk in from same area and I knew that big boy would be following, so I get ready. He strolls back in and the does are real skittish of him. He rubbing his hocks together but he settles underneath the feeder. I have 6 deer around the feeder, and I have to get this bow drawn. He gives me that broadside shot, I draw back without getting busted. I go to line up my pin and the sun is blinding me through the peep. I try again and same thing. I have never had this happen to me. I stay drawn for over a minute but I got to shaking so bad that I believe the does caught my movement. I really couldn't see them because of the sun. The only reason I hunted this ladderstand was because it was suppose to be overcast. 2 minutes after the bruiser leaves, the clouds cover up the sun. I shot a 11 pt that scored 150 last year with a rifle. This deer had a bigger body and would probably score close to that. If my trail camera took a picture of him, I will post it later. I'm cursing the sun god right now
