I have had several good buck showing up at one of my stand locations lately. Every time I hunt it, I generally get the same young deer coming in. Well last night about 5:30, I was texting my buddy about a big 6 pt. That he shot about 5. He was a little worried about the shot because he didn't get a pass thru and couldn't find any blood. We were discussing about tracking it. All of a sudden a little 4 pt strolls to the feeder, followed by a spike. A little later a doe walks in so I figured I had about 15 minutes left of light when all of a sudden this buck walks in. It completely threw me off guard and the shakes started. I watched them until I thought all eyes were down and I drew back. Once I got drawn with no detection, a feeling of calm went over me, I relax, found my spot, and released. He immediately hit some brush but I heard him crash a little bit on the other side. I waited about 10 minutes, got down, found my arrow and it had good blood on it. Found some blood and started tracking. He was piled up about 30 yards through the brush. I was using Magnus Buzzcuts 100gr 4 blades. Blood trail was decent but it entered right behind shoulder in the crease and completely blew through the opposite shoulder.
