    Double in kansas

I had a doe come with a buck in tow. I didn't see the buck at first. I shot the doe at 13 yards and then movement caught my eye behind me and to the right. It was the buck and he just stood there after a brief move forward watching her run and fall. It was like he was saying, "Where ya going? I thought we had something going on?"

I ranged him at 37 yards and only had a small opening to shoot through. He was hard quartering away and I settled my 30 yard pin behind his last rib on the left side aiming a little high and for the off shoulder. I released and the QAD Exodus found its mark. He ran off with blood spewing like Old Faithful. My first double with a bow.

    It was a great morning.
