    Trashman

Well... We were gunna let Trashman slide this year and see what he could do next year, but I had to many people in my ear telling me to harvest him.

I've watched this deer grow and knew every move he made. Had his bedding area and travel pattern down to a science. He's stayed in a 300 acre pasture his whole life. There's three other feeders within 800-1000 yards and he never traveled to them. Kind of weird for a buck, but he had protein, corn, water and plenty of does where he called home.

I don't know if yall get emotional about harvesting a deer or not, but watching them grow and figuring out their moods and patterns is something I enjoy. This buck means a lot to me and every other guy on our lease that got to see it unfold.

    Cheers!

I'd say you made the right call. I know exactly what you mean about taking a buck you have so much history with, it makes it even more special. Big Congrats! The downside is that pasture is going to seem very empty for a while. That is until the next one shows up!

The score sheet is filed at the lease so I don't know everything. Main frame 11 with 18 score able points. Left had 12 4/8" of trash and right had 5.
                            13" wide
                            Left beam 21 6/8"
                            Right beam 22"

                            I don't remember G lengths.

His mass and abnormals helped him tremendously!
