I've been hunting deer with a bow for quite some time now but never really got too serious about it. This year I decided I would put in a lot more effort in order to finally connect with something. Saturday morning I had a couple does make a fatal mistake and enjoyed themselves to some corn in the feeder pen. She ended up catching my movement in the tree and jumped out of the pen and turned broadside at thirty years and then WHACK! Wasn't the greatest shot but she only ran about 40 yards after the exodus smacked her. Isn't the biggest doe in the woods but I'll be dang'd if she won't eat! 
Went and checked another property just north of my farm and have a new target for my first archery buck hopefully!
Hunted him Saturday afternoon with no luck as we think he skirted us and entered the soy bean field from a different spot but his side kick decided he would hang out with me for a little while video was at about 15 feet from my climber.
