From broken collar bone, to x-bow, to horns

For three years in a row, the first week of September has been disastrous for my youngest son's football seasons. This year it was a broken collar bone that required surgery.

Thankfully, grandpa was wanting a crossbow, and this forced that purchase to happen.

We had a cull buck on camera, and my son closed the deal last night on that buck. Mainframe 5x3. We have this genetic here some where one side will be great, and the other side is just a mainbeam with maybe a point or two. Crossbow shot at 30yards.

Nice! I've had three broken collar bones (same one) and the only thing that hurts worse is broken ribs (yea, ,I've had those too). Congratulations on keeping it going with the crossbow.

Cool deal. I had a hairline fracture on my clavicle and it hurt like heck. That one is smack split in two. Looks painful! Way to get it done though. Congrats!
