    My son strikes first!

This morning at 0753 I get a text saying "dad I just shot one"!

Knowing yesterday morning he saw 6 bucks but nothing came in range and 3 of the six were chasing a doe around I knew exactly what he meant! I told him sit tight and I will head that way shortly. When I got there he climbed down and was all smiles. He replayed the story.... There was a doe about 75 yards out that was alone and she looked back and started trotting away. All of a sudden two bucks break the brush line about 75-100 yards away headed right behind the doe who was now out of sight. My son quickly grabbed a call and hit a doe bleet and the bucks stopped in their tracks. He hit it one more time and they came in quick. He had a pile of rice bran on the ground and had sprayed some tinks on a bush about 20yards away. They both came in and went straight to rice bran then one turned and went to the tinks my son drew back released and after a short tracking job we found him piled up at the base of a large tree!
