I have been watching this wide 8pt since July and figured that I better get a lot more accurate with my bow if I was going to have a chance at this guy since the neighbors only rifle hunt. After 3 months of getting many pictures of this deer, my brother told me that I needed to get a better set up so we did some changing and got me a new blind set up. I also was complaining about my bow since I bought it used about 6 years ago at a garage sale and so that same brother said, "why don't you get a new site for it" and he was right, once I changed that site, I was dead on. I sat in the new set up Saturday am in a full Ghillie suit, but the does were blowing and only the small bucks would come in and pay me no mind. Sunday am, same deal but the does were much calmer. Sunday night, does came in and did not pay me any attention. Finally at 7:30 I heard another something coming and prayed it was the big 8. Sure enough it was and he stopped broadside and I let the Beman arrow with the Muzzy 100 fly and got him quartering away and took out his lungs. He piled up 50 yrds from impact. Awesome, awesome time and great to share it with the brother that made all of the suggestions. By the way I will hire him out to come take a look at your set up
