So this was my first bowhunt and it was pretty exciting. I was getting to my blind 1 hour before dark but the deer were already there and spooked a couple. Didn't have any others come too close. A lot of dove being shot around me. Had three turkeys come in right by my blind as they must have been roosting right behind me. They weren't real cooperative in coming within 30 yards and they were on the move. So my first release of an arrow sailed just a bit high at 45 yards. Oh well it was a great morning and can't wait to get back in the stand. Got to love this air card working at the deer lease.
