Went to the local place tonight for a sit as I've had lots of recent activity, to include this big girl --

Got in the tripod about 8:15 and settled in, windy, but from the right direction, cloudy. At 9:30 I saw the first one--a good boar, but he didn't offer me a shot, and eventually left. About 15 minutes later, the gang showed up. Missed the first shot--WTH? But, they came back and I poked one of the larger ones in the group. Watched the red Lumenok go straight thru the grass/brush/cactus and heard him crash. Then they came back again, and I poked another one that started squealing and running in circles, eventually right about at the tripod. Then I see the Lumenok about 12 yds from the stand, and there are 3-4 hogs around it, so I'm thinking #2 down. Had hogs all over the place and no gun, so I knew I was going to sit a while until they left, which they did shortly. Got down and walked over to the lighted nock, and no pig! Blood end to end though, and a bit of blood on a weed stem. Looked a bit and found one other bloody spot, but no pig and the departing pigs had torn up all the grass/weeds and I couldn't tell which trail/path the one I shot might have taken. This is all I found--

Walked back to the pen and started out in the direction the first one ran--lots of tracks but no blood first 20 yds, then I pick up the blood trail--

Then I spot the Lumenok, and another 10 yds is a black spot in the green grass--and as I walked up to him, I could smell him -- off to the buzzard buffet for him--estimated at 150 lbs.

Will go back in the morning to look a bit more for the one I didn't find, but weeds and grass are mid-thigh high so it won't be easy unless the buzzards help me out.
