Old 8 Down!
This old 8 aka Big Louie had been nocturnal, but this evening he made a fatal mistake! I had a little boar come in early and run all the deer off so I zapped him. I sat the rest of the evening thinking the hunt was over. Then I looked out of my left shooting window and saw antlers. Instantly I knew if was the old 8 with his signature broken brow tine. As he entered my shooting lane I drew and when he stopped released the arrow. Ended up hitting him a little high but the Rage Extreme tickled the spine dropping him in his tracts and expiring within 20 seconds. I didn't have anyone to take pictures until I got to the processor. Thanks for reading!
