    Praying in KS

Just botched a shot on a beautiful buck in SE Kansas. No idea what happened but the shot sounded terrible when I touched off the release and then the arrow cork screwed and hit him back. Guessing I caught the sleeve of my jacket. Penetration looked pretty poor but I'm hoping the broadband is working as he runs. Going to give him until lunchtime and then pick up the trail. The feeling of a poorly placed arrow is gut wrenching.

It happens to us all. No different the pulling on a riffle shot. Good luck and stay positive
