This past Friday evening Hubby was sitting in the blind watching our "regulars" eat corn and protein when out of nowhere this guy walks in and joins them. This buck is a stranger here, just like the one I killed on Halloween. We had never seen him and had no pictures of him until that morning when we spotted him getting a drink of water. After a couple heart pounding minutes waiting for him to get in position Hubby took his shot and the buck ran off. An hour later we started tracking him. Surprisingly, he left very little blood and we had to give up the search for the night. But, not to worry, the next morning we found him. I have to say, this is one AWESOME buck. He's a main frame 10 pt with 4 stickers. His green gross is 173 4/8. Shot with an Elite GTO, Beman ICS 400 arrow and 100 gr Slick Trick Mag. Congratulations Doug.
