Get a GOOD dog. With the arrow impaling his front assembly, a good dog can get him bayed.
We tracked one last year that was a one lung hit. Lots of good blood but the buck was still very mobile 4 hours after the shot. Dog ran him out of juice and he expired 100 yards from where she jumped him.
