I went hunting last night and got to my blind by a pond at 7:45 pm. I checked the game cam pics and they showed a bunch of pigs coming in just after dark. The feeder went off at 8:15 pm and nothing came in. It started getting dark and my feeder light lit up the area around my feeder. Then at 9:15 the feeder went off again. About 5 minutes later I could hear pigs down by the pond(only about 30 yards away). The pigs wanted to come in but I think they smelled me. After about 10 more minutes of listening to them thrash around in the pond I decided to get out of my blind and see if I could get a shot. I walked over to the edge of the pond and with the full moon I could see about 15 pigs playing in the mud. They were only about 15 yards away so I drew my bow back, turned on my led light and slowly lowered it on the pigs. I picked out the Pie bald and when she turned I let my arrow fly. My lighted nock smacked her perfect. The Slick trick broadhead blew right through and I could see my arrow sticking in the mud. The pig only ran about 25 yards and piled up in the tall weeds.
This is the group of pigs that I shot at and the pie bald I whacked.
