First Comal county hunt

I am getting to hunt on friends property this afternoon for the first time. Some really nice deer have come off this place so my hopes are high. I am hoping to get my first buck with my bow but meat in the freezer will do to I guess.

Meat in the freezer is good. I shot a buck back early in bow season and haven't had another good shot since then--but this cold might knock back some of the green salad they've been eating over our corn.

Ok my phone died so I could update last night. I couldn't get a shot on a few bucks last night but this morning was a different story. I did however pick up my fathers AR and smoke him with a 62 grain Barnes triple shock.
