After a dissapointing hunt a couple weeks ago, I finally had some success this weekend. At about 9:30 a beautiful bobcat was slipping through right behind my stand. I stood up and managed to get a shot off before she slipped away. There is not an area on her body where she doesn't have spots.
About thirty minutes later, I grunted up this 3-1/2 year old five point. He stopped less than 10 yards from my stand. No brow tines. His left G2 is broken off at the main beam. It would have made him a five point. He needed to be removed from the gene pool. I'm very thankful for the wonderful time in the woods this weekend!
