    McMullen Co Halloween Mgmt Buck

Shot this 6.5 year old 8 pt on Halloween quartering away at 18 yards. Rage 2-blade. Went about 75 yards after the shot. Also shot 2 pigs the same night. Deer really weren't moving well but they are startling to. He had 23.5" beams and he scored 118 6/8".

Right on my man! Nice buck, sounds like a fun night.

How are yalss axis right now? Ours are a bit space, but seem to be coming back into the ranch.

Did you shoot him from a ground blind?

Some were taken from ground blinds. One pig was taken from porch.

Axis are good. We are high fenced so they aren't going anywhere. They have been very visible as of late though. Have a couple very solid ones. Should be shedding in about a month on our place.
