Big old south TX 8

I had been seeing this bruiser since opening weekend really early and he'd be gone before it was light enough to really make sure he was the 8 I was seeing on camera....until Tuesday morning anyway! I tried to put one of my fellow hunters on him, but fortunately he passed. When we put the tape on him, he measured out at a little over 141"... 33" mass, 23.5" main beams, and 20.5" wide! He weighed in at a hefty 228 pounds.
