So my dad sneaks out of work this morning and puts the hammer down on a nice Bosque co 8. This is his first kill with his crossbow. I bought it for him for Christmas since his shoulder has been giving him problems. He's worked super hard all season and it finally paid off. Congrats Pop!! I'm so proud!
The story is pretty simple. Last Saturday he busted dad when he popped in on a trail we weren't expecting him to. Then Sunday he came in before there was enough shooting light. He was at 15 yards and dad could only see him when his camera would flash. Haha. Thats my kind of luck. So he couldn't get it off his mind so he went back out this morning to the honey hole and he hand corned the spot and he came in on a string. Offered a perfect shot and dad centerpunched him with a G5 T3. He wdnt about 30 yards and piled up.
