Last weekend I went out to my lease just north of Llano in Cherokee to do some work and try to get my first kill of the season. I was sitting in a new tree stand and had 4 different groups of turkey come in one evening. It took awhile until I had a clean shot and then dropped this nice gobbler. I didn't see any deer at the feeders this wknd - think they aren't coming to corn just yet since there's plenty of acorns, etc. I shot this turkey at 22 yards with my Matthews Switchback and Crimson talon broadheads.
