First kill from the new blind

Got settled in the blind about 30+mins before shooting light. My 7yo son rolled up with the sleeping bag and fell back asleep in 10mins. Had this buck suddenly appear at the feeder before it went off. As I readied for the shot it went off and sent him flying. He came back in quickly followed by a small 8, 3 fawns, a small doe and 2 mid sized does. I had a raccoon trapped 10yds off to the side and the does did not like him moving. They wrapped around me and didn't give me a good chance while leaving. Took over 15mins for this buck to give me a good opportunity. As his near side leg stepped forward I drew back, settled in and squeezed off the shot. clipped the opposite side shoulder bone passing through. He made about a 60yd dash into the most cactus he could find and crashed.
