Has anyone bowhunted in the Andrews area?60 acres have come up for my buddy and I to possibly hunt the acreage for free but we have to go scout it and put a feeder.My buddies cousin lives on the place and has seen big bucks on property.But we still don't know if neighbors hunt or not.

I've hunted south of there. There some good deer in the area but the deer density is low. In a part of the country where land is referenced as sections, not acres, 60 acres won't hold many deer.

Thanks Ken.I don't want to spend time and money on a lucky chance we might kill a buck in 2 or 3 days.I was banking o the rut but Ive read full ruts not till after season.

Like he said not acres its sections in this country..I hunted 120 sections in crane and ector co. lastyear and saw one buck but it was a good one.WT Mule cross

I was going to say its mainly mule deer if you get anywhere north of Andrews, and is mainly open CRP land from what I remember

What he said that is real close to home for me also. What side of andrews is it? There are some really nice deer in the area if you can get on them.
