    Caddo National Grasslands bucks down

I had to share a couple public land kills taken off the ladonia unit the first taken by my buddy during archery season, and the second in november by me, what can I say its been a great year. Who says you need a deer lease in texas !

Congrats, nice bucks, especially the top one.Very impressive considering that place gets hammered by centerfire rifle hunters all season long. Its a miracle that buck lived to get that big.He looks like a 3 year old deer.Dont know how he avoided all the 30-06 and .270 slugs flying around that place!

The taxidermist that did the euro mounts for us aged both at 2 1/2, the top one was definitely big for his age. Would've been scary big a 4 1/2 but you don't get that old hanging around public land.
