East Texas Buck

Took this 13 inch 4.5 year old 8 point Dec 8th at 9:00 AM. It was **** cold, 16 degrees when I walked into my stand. He walked directly under my loc-on stand 18 foot up an oak tree. Ambushed him near a scrape. He ran less then 50 yards. Nothing like outsmarting and old buck in his hardwood river bottom home.

That is awesome !!! Your exactly right. There is nothing like outsmarting an old buck out in the woods and not over some corn feeder, although I have hunted both ways.
