I was very fortunate to be invited to a great free range MLD ranch in Menard along the San Saba River a few weeks ago by a good friend, Brantley. Josh, (Copper87) & Britton (Codfish) were in attendance as well. Our main goal was to try and help take out some does and management deer. I'll let the pics do the talking on this one.
Codfish & Myself

Copper87 's management 8. Additionally, the Indian gods were guiding him pretty well throughout the weekend. The man was on fire.

The big guy, Brantley, with the "Dream Cull".

Codfish I believe had the highest body count of the weekend. I failed to get pics of a few of the animals taken. I'm sure the overall count would have been quite a few more had we not been spending a lot of time trying to coax the critters into traditional bow range. I know that's not what it's all about, but it sure makes for a fun time.

I had a blast and really half to say thanks again to Brantley. He is about as good as they get. Maybe this thread will bring him out of the wood work and he'll post, Josh and Britton, it's always a pleasure. Looking forward to the next rendezvous.
