Dang Hunter, not sure how I missed your write up but congrats on a great looking buck. How much rain have yall got the last few weeks? We've had a little over 5". Brush is already starting to pop with new growth. Just hope it keeps coming over the summer months.

Thank you. I was happy to get him. Glad you all are getting good rain too. We have had about 3" over the last couple of weeks. Fingers crossed it continues.

Thanks. Been a long time since I looked at this thread but I can't help but smile reliving that evening. It was a really nice buck to be able to take with stick and string. We try and give our "trophies" till 6+ yrs old to reach their potential and this guy just never really blew up like we hoped so I felt good about taking him at 7.5.
