Well it took many years for me to get this. I have competed in hog hunts with my bow, shot doe and several other species. Been trying since 2006 to get a buck. Finally got him. I watched them chasing the doe about 150 yards out and figured this was going to be another wasted hunt. I had just drew on a turkey and was about to let the arrow fly when the feeder went off. So no Thanksgiving day wild turkey. finally after watching for about 2 hours the smaller buck came in. I drew and when he came out from behind the tree I released the arrow. I had been watching them prior so I knew they were mature, but when he came in and I shot I had absolutely no idea how many points he was. Took till the next day to find him as I was so excited I forgot to watch where he went. LOL Which is also the reason I am wearing that cool TEXAS shirt!
