Went to my east Tx lease this evening to set up on a deer trail/opening with some hand corn. No deer, but this good eatin' pig make the mistake of walking by on his way to my feeder about 100 yards away. Right before dark I left my brush blind and put a stalk on the feeder. Made it to about 15 yards and could hear him crunching corn. I waited patiently while he made his way into a small shooting lane that would allow me to thread an arrow through all the vines and branches. He stepped out perfectly and I touched the release.

It hit him hard and he ran for the thickets. He ran out of air before he made it. I could see the brush shaking where he fell. Stepped it off at about 20 yards from the shot location. Perfect entry and forward exit. He was on ice and i was at home about an hour later. I love hunting near the house!
