I went out this morning and after not seeing anything at first light I decided to try the grunt tube and rattling horns. After only a few minutes a small eight came in, I kept him around for about ten minutes just by grunting. When I lost sight of the eight I figured I'd hit the horns again just to see if he would come back in. Well something else did come back in but it wasn't the eight but another eight with a broken brow tine. He came in on a dead run, as he came by me at 15 yds. I let loose a Beman Bone Collector arrow tipped with a Swacker. The buck only ran another 15 yrds and fell over. Not the best pics but only had my phone and my four year old grandbaby !!!
