140 class at 40 yards

Been hunting hard all bow season and at 700pm this evening I had a gorgeous 140 class 8 point walk out and stand at 40 yards. He was looking at me the whole time and never once gave me a shot. I don't care if I didn't shoot him or not that's feeling is what it's all about!!

I hope you get another chance at him! I know several guys who put down their bows as soon as gun season starts because they can't handle not being able to take a big buck if they see one. This is what bow hunting is all about....lots of heartache, but very rewarding as well!

Bwaaaaaaaaaa! Hi Daniel. At least I'm very selective on the deer I take! I'll break my bow out at some point. For op I hope u get another shot at him.

Oh yes i have thought about it every min since but he will be on my hit list and after that I don't think it would be the same to kill him with a rifle I think this one wi have to have an Easton slide through him not any lead this year
