I finally made it up to the lease this weekend.
Sunday morning was slow with not much moving. About 8:15 the landowner's friend started raking hay with a diesel tractor about 120 yards from my stand. At that point I thought my hunt was over. A few minutes later I looked down and a buck was coming into my feeder. He was nervous about the tractor nearby and kept looking that way and started to leave once. I think it helped though as he was focused on the noise of the tractor and never looked my way. When I had a slight quartering away shot I took it. I hit him a little high so he didn't leave much of a blood trail. However, he only went about 50 yards and I saw him for the first 30 yards so he was easy to find.
