Wife's first buck ever

My wife shot her first buck Saturday night 10-20-12 with her new Mathews Jewel @ 52# shooting carbon express arrows with a 100gr Rage. This deer has been a regular at the feeder with many pics. The deer came in right before dark and began eating corn I had scattered just before getting in the stand. He was at 20 yds broadside to us. It didn't take long for my wife to decide she wanted this deer. She drew back and let the arrow fly. The deer ducked but it was too late the arrow had made impact. We gave the deer an hour and went searching. All we found was the arrow broke off and zero blood. We scouted for 20 min before finding him about 100 yds off. Couldn't be more proud or excited.
