It all started friday morning the 12th me and my buddy headed to the stand. As soon as we could see we had deer cruising all around us. At 7:10 we had a big body buck with a good set of horns about 60 yards away I instantly grab my bow ready to go but he never came in. As we were sitting there watching other deer I seen another big body buck walking in from the opposite side about 40 yards I grab my bow again and before I knew it he was at 25 yards. At that time im shaking like a leaf look over at my buddy whos filming he was shaking more than I was lol and I just gave him the nod. I draw back waiting for him to turn and some how bumped my popupblind with my foot 3 doe at 15 yards started stomping looking at us the buck looks up and is getting nervous so he turns I shoot. I watch him run out about 150 yards and stops and walking in circles then walks out of sight I wasn't confident about the shot the arrow stunk but the fletchings were dripping dark blood so we eased out went to camp. After 2 hours of waiting we go looking the only blood we could find was were I last seen him and it was nothing to brag about we were running our blue laceys with no experience at all when finally at 10am the laceys jumps the buck 400 yards from where I shot him. He took off out of site again so we back out again by this time im going crazy so 2 hours later we found him dead 5 yards from the corner of our place with no blood! He was 600 yards away from where i shot him talk about a learning experience never rush your shot
