I'm not a fan of Rage either. But from what I've seen they're alot better when I first looked at them back when they used to put butter knife sharp tips on them. Spitfire Maxx, Spitfire Edge, vortex, good ole Jak-hammers, any big cut mechanical(even Rage) is better than a less than razor sharp fixed head in my opinion. Most newer bows got more than enough kinetic energy now, so put it to use by pushing a big head through your deer in case a shot like this happens. Plus they fly better if your no the best at tuning your bow. My vote goes to the Spitfires though, they're really good heads that have a proven track record.

Ok, I'll get off my soap box now
I couldn't agree with you more, I shoot mechanicals only. I prefer the grim reaper as it does not deflect on quartering shots, I am always trying new broadhead a though and I was thinking that the spitfire maxx was my next purchase. I simply posted this picture as I thought this was a good enough shot to take the deer down reasonably quick. I keep telling him that he is at a disadvantage by not shooting a bigger cutting head
