I have had this group comming to the feeder lately and they have been pretty consistent. It had been raining three hours prior so I knew that if it would stop the pigs would likely be out moving early. I climbed in the tree stand around 7 30 in the evening and felt as if it was a perfect evening. it was quiet til about 7 50 when I heard a small grunt on the creek that let me know the pigs were still around, no more than 5 minutes later here come about ten of em to the feeder. I grabbed the Heli m and drew undetected, put my pin on a quartering away 85 pounder and THWACk!!. I knew it looked good. I waited about ten minutes and went to my arrow tipped with a ST magnum and the blood trail was devastating!!!! followed it about ten yards, looked up and he was laying bout 30 yards from where the arrow hit him!.
Gonna be eating some goooood backstrap!!!
