OFFICIAL 2012 Summer Hog Master Contest Thread

Okay guys, this is the thread for all your contest kill reports, stories, pics, questions, trash talk, etc...
Contest starts tomorrow at noon (6-22-12). Let's get it on! First one to kill and post a hog gets.......... Nothing, but bragging rights!








Lets start a live thread tomorrow night for those that are hunting.

Here's the rules for the contest:
1) All hogs will be harvested with BOW ONLY. Even to finish the hog off...
2) NO hunting in high/game fence properties. NO trapped hogs. NO kills while hog dogging. Use of dogs to track wounded hogs is OK.
3) Each hunter can turn in one hog per week. Once that hog is turned in that IS your hog for that week.
4) A contest week will be Friday noon to Friday noon.
5) To turn in a hog you must post a pic of you, the hog and the bow (all in the same pic) along with at least a short story of that hunt.
6) To turn in a hog for the heaviest hog you must post a pic of the hog on the scale with you in the pic AND a pic of the readout on the scale.
7) Each contestant must post his/her own story and pics.
8) Contestants must be TBH members.
9) Entry fee is $25 per hunter.
10) The first hunter to turn in 4 hogs is the WINNER and the 2012 Summer Hog Master and the contest is over.
11) The hunter who has reported the heaviest hog at this point wins heaviest hog!
12) There WILL be 2 winners. You can not win 1st place and heaviest hog.

Payout and Prizes:
***The winner of the contest, The 2012 Summer Hog Master, will receive $50, a custom STIC knife engraved "2012 Summer Hog Master" w/sheath AND a bow mounted Mini Sniper light w/batteries and a charger!!
***The hunter who gets the heaviest hog will receive the remainder of the prize money AND a handmade custom TX flag sign from our very own Ckuehl!

I know the feeling, Viking. I had a lil change of schedules also and am gonna have trouble making it to the ranch the 2nd and possibly the 3rd week. Oh well that gives the other guys a chance!

Yes Sir I will. There's 8 or 9 right now (I have everyone that has paid written down at home in the safe w/the $). And there's a few more that are supposed to be PayPal'ing me tonight or suppose to have their check to me by tomorrow.

One hour and 55 minutes until I head out. The wind is actually coming out of the NW right now so I can't stalk the boar but I have another area that should be good for some mid day action.
