    Sweet Redemption!

About 6 months ago I had a run in with this pig. Guessed wrong on the distance and shot over his back and just got fat and hair. I was really bummed at the time. Well fast forward to Friday. Got off work and my family and I rushed to the lease. We have been planning to go the lease for a couple weekends and the boys were excited . Got down there and I got ready to go out. When I got to my spot I got the card out of the camera and the only pig that was on there was the nice size boar. For a month he had came in almost every night before 9. I knew I was going to see him but was a little worried that he had already came. 8:15 I heard something coming. Sure enough it was him. I drew back hit the light and he jumped and walked off. Turned the light off and continued to hold. Keep in mind that the Sunday before I cracked a couple of my ribs playing softball. Finally he walked back and I got him. 3 blade Rage stuck out the other side and he only ran about 70 yards. Went back to camp and told my boys and wife. They wanted to go right then and see him but told them of my run in with a copperhead while looking for him so we decided to go in the morning . My uncle showed up Saturday and we went out to take a look at him. We also had a good time fishing. Didn't catch a whole lot but the boys had fun. Here are some pics of him and the scar where I hit him earlier.

And yes my son shoots a stick bow
