2 Pigs Down

Well, I got lucky on a new place to hunt hogs the other day. Went out for the first time and this is what we ended up with. My brother (CritrGitr) got the first one at 15 yards right between the eyes. The other one came by me and I hit a limb trying to shoot her on the run at 8 yards. She came back looking for me and started to charge when I put one straight on into her left leg and went through just behind the lungs. She took off toward my brother. she charged him and he got off a shot at 5 ft but missed trying to get out of her way. Then she went by my dad and he finished her off with a 40 yard shot. That was a lot of fun. I went back today and was trying to sit in a tripod to see what else I could see. The mosquitos started tearing me up and I was out of fuel for my thermacell so I bailed early. But I did have a big tom come to within 25 yards while I was there.

Ya'll had more fun than we did. We sat out there til 10 and didn't see or hear anything but mosquitos and Cesar snoring a little bit.
